most of day consists of this

rule number one: only fall asleep on the warm shoulder of mommy.
rule number two: daddy will suffice, but only if she is not here.
rule number three: if all else fails, put me in the car seat but don't expect to get much done this way.

friday the first of july

we had a grand ole' time. Grandpa Greg (Papa) and Leslie took us to Gilroy Gardens for a fun outing this long weekend.

We first checked out a REAL Dinosaur exhibit! (*wink wink*)

Then we had to practically pull Jack away from the "excavation" table. I think he's a little archaeologist at heart!
Rode our FIRST "real" amusement ride!
Walked through a waterfall with Papa! It was SO hot out (well, for this coastie gal, it was hot!) and this was a great way to cool off!
Ok, so arboretum was neat! They had a bunch of twisty palm trees like this:

Sadly, we missed a bunch of rides because the power went out! Not to fun for a 2 year old who missed out on some fun rides like this one:

But that is ok, never fear...a non-napping, exhausted 2 year old (and 5 month old) let us know it was time to go.

Such a fun day, for a fun boy. Can't wait to do it again soon!
